It’s easy to say you’re a Father

But harder to be called a Dad

And even though you

May not be so in name

You’re the best Dad that I ever had

You’ve always been there to support me

To listen and talk through my fears

To celebrate the happy times

And help me dry my tears

Not just for special occasions

But beside me every day

I know you are there to support me

And your support is here to stay

I just want to tell you I’m grateful
